Newton’s 1st Law on an Air Track

This is a simple demonstration of Newton’s 1st Law. A glider is placed on a leveled air track and allowed to simply rest there. An object at rest tends to stay at rest. The glider is then imparted some momentum. An object in motion tends to stay in motion. If quantitative analysis of this is needed, photogates can be provided.
